Gerald Oehring is the owner of Gerald Oehring and Associates, and proudly represents the Global Organ Group in a four state area. He resides in Lincoln Nebraska with his wife Laura, and two dogs!
He studied organ at the University of Nebraska with Dr. Quentin Faulkner, and then in Des Moines with Dr. Frank Jordan.
His association with Rodgers began 40 years ago, and continues today. His company has installed several hundred new and rebuilt organs during the almost 40 years in business. The first interface of a pipe organ with a Rodgers console was successfully completed in 1979, and the company now has many examples throughout the mid-west.
For 30 years he was the area director for the Wicks Pipe Organ company. In this capacity, he has directed the installation, rebuilding and maintenance of many pipe organs in Nebraska and Iowa.
He has served a number of churches in the Lincoln area, including First Baptist, Our Savior's Lutheran, Vine Congregational, and First Presbyterian.
